From the Manufacturer Eliminate splintering when crosscutting oak, ply veneers, and melamine with Forrest's 8-inch-by-24-tooth dado set. These dadoes can produce perfect, flat-bottom grooves--not staggered steps or round bottoms, like those made by wobble-dadoes. The superhard carbide gives them a longer life and is especially good on plywood and abrasive particleboards. These dadoes cut in all directions: rip, crosscut, and miter at any depth. They also cut all size grooves, in 1/4- through 29/32-inch increments. One set of plastic adjusting shims included. Dado head features 24 no. C-4 carbide tips on each trim saw and four no. C-4 carbide tips on each chipper.
