Color coded red stone is fine grit or 600 mesh, opposite side is blue or 325 mesh. Will quickly sharpen the toughest steel and even carbide knives and tools. Unique interrupted surface speeds sharpening by clearing away the metal particles removed from the tool edge thus enhancing the abrasive action of the diamond crystals.
