From the Manufacturer Make perfectly duplicated turnings from an original or a template with this wood turning duplicator from Delta. It's designed for Delta 12-inch wood lathes but fits most other wood lathes with channeled beds. Simply mount the duplicator to the lathe bed using the included mounting brackets and it's ready for operation. The front clamping stocks hold the original so the steel guide pin can follow the pattern. A two-sided high-speed steel cutter then cuts the new workpiece to the exact pattern of the original. Easy to operate, the duplicator's cast-aluminum carriage travels along the extension bed on nylon pads that automatically clean sawdust from the bed. The four-spoked handwheel and rack-and-pinion drive allows excellent control making it a must for mass producing spindles and other turnings.
