From the Manufacturer For the first time, Black and Decker has added a light to a drill to help when drilling in dark areas. The light is controlled by a separate on/off switch and illuminates work areas such as under the sink, inside a drawer or outside the house. Another new feature is a One-Touch Battery Level Indicator that lets you know how much charge remains in the drill's batteries. When all three lights on the indicator are illuminated you know the batteries are fully charged. The drill's mid-handle design offers improved balance and handling, and puts a person's hand closer to the work for more control. It comes with a keyless chuck that makes for quick and easy bit changes and a two-speed switch - low for screwdriving and high for drilling. Its contoured finger grips improve comfort and control. The drill is powered by two 3.6-volt VersaPak batteries and has been redesigned with a spring-loaded battery mechanism to make it easier to change the batteries. Designed for repetitive charging, VersaPak batteries power the entire family of VersaPak cordless products, including power tools and home products. Included with the drill are two 3.6-volt VersaPak batteries, charger, storage case, lightbulb, and double-ended bit.
