From the Manufacturer Ideal for contour cutting, straight cutting and resawing operations, this 14-inch band saw has many quality features. A V-belt and pulley system connects the powerful induction motor to the saw for smooth, efficient power transfer. The cast aluminum wheels are machined and balanced for peak performance. Curved spokes on the wheels also help to reduce vibration. An advanced blade guide system keeps the blade tracking true and is easy to adjust. The lower blade guides are within 3/4-inch of the table work surface to give maximum support even when the table is tilted, assuring accurate cutting. The blade guides and ball-bearing blade support have micrometer adjustments for precise adjustments and greater accuracy. The cast iron table is designed so the blade removal slot is on the side, allowing better support from the solid front trunnion. The large 14-by-14 inch table tilts 45 degrees to the right and 10 degrees to the left and has a miter slot for accessory use. Capacity is 6-1/4 inches under the blade guide and 13-3/4 inches from the blade to the frame. An optional height attachment (sold separately) can be added to raise the under the blade capacity to 12-1/4 inches. Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories.
